Way it almost was...

I was re-reading Modern Humorist's Rough Draft, and found myself laughing out loud. Again. The pages are filled with parodies of ideas and some of this stuff is bloody funny.

In the spirit of cheering myself up, I will share three rough drafts from the book:

From Dirty Dancing (1987)
Johnny Castle: Nobody puts Baby in a corner. Babies need constant attention for their emotional and physical well-being.

Before Thomas A. Harris, M.D. went through his publication in 1969, the bible of the self-help movement went through several titles, including I'm OK, FUCK YOU: A practical guide to transactional analysis and I'm OK, You're OK for a One Night Stand.

From The Graduate (1967)
Mr. McGuire: Benjamin, I just want to say one word to you... just one word: "Adultery."

Not laughing out loud, eh? Well, maybe this book isn't for you.
However, if you did, just borrow mine. :)
